When selectiong and using the springs we recommend:

Select the lightest and longest springs working requirements allow. Operating travel must never exceed the max deflection indicated in the catalogue. Check this too when the die i sharpened. Preload each spring in the assembled tool at least by 5% of the free length, with a minimum of 2 mm. Provide for an even base for each spring. Provide proper guidance to avoid buckling.
